Cumberland Miles Campground & RV Park sits 4.6 miles from beautiful Lake Cumberland in Russell Springs, Kentucky.

Lake Cumberland offers 52,000 acres of open water and 1,225 miles of shoreline making it one of the largest lakes in the Eastern United States.

Our Campground sits 4.6 miles from the Alligator 1 Boat Ramp in Russell Springs; a direct drive down Highway 76 where the road ends in water. Our Campground is conveniently located next to boat storage, a gas station to quickly fuel your boat and The Eli Country Store & Restaurant. Our smallest lots are 41ft x 65ft and spacious enough for your camper with room to clean your boat when you come off the water. We offer a back lot for you to store your boat for as long as is needed. For those that enjoy off road trails and own an ATV, there are approximately 5 miles of public access off-road trails just 2 miles from the Campground.

We are open all year round for annual, weekly or nightly campsites. Nightly campsites are available by reservation with a 2-night minimum stay.

Donnie & Dora Miles are the proud owners of Cumberland Miles Campground & RV Park.

Dora’s family has memories of life on Lake Cumberland dating back to the 1960’s. Chester (Bud) & Anita Ryan owned a floating boat house, that was kept in the cove where the ramp now sits at State Dock. When the Corps of Engineers outlawed boat houses, Dora’s family moved to Grider Hill and they purchased their 1st camping trailer. Her Grandparents, Chester (Bud) & Anita Ryan were the 1st paying customers at Grider Hill. Her Uncle Brett Ryan was a table busser as a young boy at the Grider Hill Restaurant. Instead of getting a paycheck for the shifts he worked, Brett would take Peanut Butter Pie home to his mom. Dora’s grandparents eventually bought a houseboat and docked it at Grider hill.

Whether you plan to camp for the weekend or keep your camper on site annually, this is the place to be. 3 minutes from the lake and 25 minutes into Jamestown. Electric and sewer at each site. Campers are friendly and camp sites are open and nicely distanced from each other. A must if you camp in the lake Cumberland area..

This campground is the perfect boaters campground. Turn right out of the campground and its 3 minutes to the boat ramp. No turns. Straight shot down Hwy 76 and the road ends in the water. We loved coming off the water every night to hang out with other boaters at the campground. The boat storage in the back was great. The owner even helped us launch our boat so we didn't have to worry about parking at the ramp. She even came back and helped us trailer at the end of the day.

The sites are HUGE. 41 FT X 65 FT and not a single mud spot. We love the all gravel sites. Keeps our belongings from getting nasty. The site set up is perfect for an easy back in. Grass was always close by for the dogs to walk.

We are super excited to have found Cumberland Miles Campground. The owners are very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay perfect.

This campground has massive campsites. The all gravel made it perfect to back our boat next to our camper while we loaded the boat for the day with our coolers and bags.

We will be back! Our neighbors were awesome at site 99 and took us out on their boat with them for the day! We made so many friends and will be back in a few weeks. I had no idea boaters were like a family and never want to leave a camper behind at the campground. We were shocked when we were invited out to spend the day on the water. The kids had a blast. Now we need to buy a boat. 🤣
